PETER ANDERSEN
Project Development Coordinator
Peter has an extensive background in law, tertiary education and senior Commonwealth public service management with a keen interest in social justice and innovation. He has engaged in a volunteer capacity with several organisations, most recently including Dementia Australia, the Heart Foundation and the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network, having visited and witnessed first hand many paediatric medical facilities throughout Eastern Africa, the subcontinent and South East Asia. He brings a wide variety of skills to Taking Paediatrics Abroad, including working with volunteers, the legal requirements of charities and utilisation of the latest technological solutions.
JOANNE LILLIE
Director of Communications
Joanne is a health communications professional with an interest in global child health. She has worked and volunteered with children’s hospitals and medical NPOs in South Africa and Australia.
BROOKE BOSWELL
Director of Digital Marketing
Brooke is an experienced digital project manager, consulting on website design and development, mobile site development, social media, SEO and SEM projects. She has run her digital marketing consulting firm Boswell Designs for 11 years. and is currently based in Wollongong on the South Coast.
SARAH FEYEN
Commercial Lawyer
Sarah has a background in law and international studies. She is a commercial lawyer, working predominately in insurance and health law. Sarah is passionate about improving the health of the vulnerable. She has volunteered at several organisations which aim to achieve this, including the Cancer Council and Youth off the Streets.

Technical Officer
William is a technical officer with a demonstrated experience in academic Information and Communications Technology support. His involvement in charitable organisations stems from his passion for social justice and paediatric medicine.
MARGARET STICHTER
Administration
Margaret Stichter has had a long administrative career in the New South Wales Health system; first joining Westmead Hospital in March, 1978 eight months prior to its opening. Along with a number of senior administrative roles, she was Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officers and Boards of Western Sydney Area Health Service, Western Sydney Local Health District, The Children’s Hospitals at Westmead and finally, the Agency for Clinical Innovation.
Margaret recently retired and plans to spend more time with her grandchildren, some of whom live very close by and regularly visit the remainder of her family in Germany.
ADAM GHANEM
Web Developer and Technical Support
Adam is a dedicated computer scientist with Master’s experience and work in the tech industry. He specialises in website development as well as Artificial Intelligence and has a commitment to develop equitable software for good.

Australian College of Neonatal Nurses Low Resource Country Special Interest Group
The Australian College of Neonatal Nurses (ACNN) is the peak professional body for neonatal nurse in Australia. The Low Resource Countries Special Interest Group (SIG) is one of eight SIGs of ACNN. The focus of the Low Resource Countries SIG is on supporting improved outcomes for small and sick newborns around the time of birth and throughout the neonatal period; and heads ACNN’s partnership with government, non-government and health-care workers of neighbouring low resource countries in the pacific region.
